NASA's mission concepts set the stage for future planetary science research. These mission concepts reflect input from scientific and technical communities and include a wide range of missions in all three classes. Concepts are being carefully investigated, reviewed and their science investigations planned so that they can better answer profound fundamental questions about how our solar system formed and whether life exists elsewhere in the universe.
