Jenny McFarlane loves working with students and community members of all ages to explore Space Science. She has been active in her local education community for several decades. For a dozen years, she traveled throughout Nevada with a mobile planetarium dome, leading hands-on workshops to educate and encourage students to see themselves as successful scientists and to see that Space is for everyone! After enjoying years as a Flight Director with the Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada, leading thousands of students on three-hour journeys to Mars, she now works as an Education and Outreach Coordinator with the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, where she works with a team to help visitors reach for the stars.
